Getting Started

Installing the Extension

1. Go to Setup > Marketplace > All.
2. Under All Extensions, view all supported extensions in Zoho CRM.
3. Click All Extensions, type in the search field EbulkSMS.
4. Review the extension details.
5. Click Install.
6. Agree to the terms of service and click Install again.
7. On the next screen, confirm and click Continue to Install.

Post-Installation Setup

After installing the EbulkSMS extension, you'll be prompted to configure your account.

1. Enter your EbulkSMS account email.
2. Enter your API key. You can find this in your EbulkSMS dashboard.
3. Click Save to complete setup.

Sending a Message

1. Locate the Contacts, Lead, or Vendors module links at the top of the page.
2. Click the name of any contact, lead, or vendor.
3. The "Send SMS" popup will be displayed for you.

4. Select your Sender Name or add a new one.
5. Compose your message or select a saved template.
6. Click "Send" to deliver your SMS instantly.

Tracking Sent Messages

View SMS history in the "Sent SMS" module or through the "Sent SMS" related list on each contact’s detail view.

Using the Webhook Generator

The EbulkSMS extension includes a convenient Webhook Generator to help you integrate SMS functionality with your CRM workflows.

1. From any module where the extension is enabled, click the Webhook Tool button.
2. In the popup window, configure the following:

• Module: Select the CRM module from which the webhook will be triggered.
• Sender ID: Choose the registered sender name to be used in the message.
• Phone Number Field: Select the field that contains the recipient's phone number.
• SMS Message: Enter your message body. You can insert merge fields from the selected module.
• Character Count: The extension automatically calculates your SMS character length.

3. Click Generate to copy the webhook URL and payload format.
4. Use this webhook in your Zoho CRM workflow automation to send SMS messages when specific conditions are met.

Using Merge Fields

Insert Zoho CRM field placeholders such as ${Contacts.First Name} to personalize messages automatically when composing your SMS message.

Uninstalling the Extension

If you no longer wish to use the EbulkSMS extension, you can uninstall it from your Zoho CRM settings.

1. Go to Setup > Marketplace > All.
2. Click on the Installed Extensions tab to view your active extensions.
3. Locate EbulkSMS in the list and click the corresponding Settings icon (gear).
4. Select Uninstall from the dropdown menu.
5. Confirm the action in the dialog that appears.

This will remove the extension and all its associated components from your CRM.
